Airline Fair Fare Chart

I originally wrote up a smaller version of this in my blog post, I Hate Airlines, but I thought I would make a page specific for these sorts of things. As consumers we need to be better informed so we can compete with the online ticketing web sites, travel agents, tour groups, and the airlines themselves.

Airline Fair Fare Chart

  Value Fair Ripped Off
Regional $60 $120 $200
National $200 $300 $400
International $400 $600 $800
Long-Haul International $550 $850 $1200

Example:

Flying from Columbus, OH to Chicago, IL should be no more than $200 or you are getting ripped off by the airline.

Flying from Columbus, OH to California with our without stops should be no more than $400 or you are getting ripped off by the airline.

Flying from the U.S. East coast to Europe, the U.S. West coast to Asia, or within North and South America should be no more than $900 or you are getting ripped off by the airline.

Flying from the opposite coast to one of those destinations above should be no more than $1200 or you are getting ripped off by the airline.
